The Singapore Flyer is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. Described by its operators as an observation wheel, it reaches 42 stories high, with a total height of 165 m (541 ft), and is 5 m (16 ft) taller than the Star of Nanchang and 30 m (98 ft) taller than the London Eye.

Bridon supplied 24 Backstay Cable Assemblies using 100mm Galfan® Full Locked Coil Rope internally lubricated with Bridon Metalcoat® and fitted with an Adjustable Stylite Socket at one end and a Stylte Fork Socket at the other.

In addition, 112 Spoke Cable Assemblies were manufactured using 75mm Galfan® Full Locked Coil Rope internally lubricated with Bridon Metalcoat® and fitted with an Adjustable Stylite Socket at one end and a Stylte Fork Socket at the other.
